While Doctor Osman was rifling through the notes checking the data. She felt flush and wondered if it had become hotter in the lab after Wonder Woman left.
Rachael slowly reached inside her lab coat and undid the top few buttons on her blouse. Her right hand continued across her chest and paused over her heart. She thought her pulse was becoming erratic.
It was inappropriate for Wonder Woman to constantly parade around like a star-spangled pole dancer. Her voluptuous body and tight ass continually on display for all to see. Doctor Osman knew, academically, the powerful distraction sexuality was and the, theoretical, dangers inherent to its exploitation.
The amazonian princess was using her natural gifts as an advantage. Distracting her adversaries. The biological drive to reproduce and advance a genetic line. That was the logical explanation but it was simple lust. Thankfully, Rachael didn’t need to have massive tits and a sharply contoured ass hanging out to do her job. Some hono sapiens had evolved beyond the need for such basic behaviors.
Wonder Woman is also supposed to be an example of a powerful independent woman in a man’s world. A role model. She shouldn’t always present herself as a juvenile fantasy, a beautiful sexual play toy. She has super strength, super stamina, did her super stamina extend to all things, does she have super desires wondered Rachael. Are all her senses and responses to stimuli elevated?
To balance the equation are her fears and phobias equally great? Of course, as a scientist and an expert in animal behavior Rachael was naturally curious from a theoretical stand point. Humans are the most advanced primates and Wonder Woman is the ultimate female. She should study it more closely.
Rachael was interrupted from her oddly unprofessional train of thought by the compute beeping. The screen had a Null reading.
Null reading? Unless Gargantua has just died or is brain dead, both of which were highly unlikely, there must have been some kind of malfunction. Doctor Osman needed those readings for a thorough research process and accurate conclusion to support her recommendation. She needed tonight’s data to have the report ready in the morning.
Rachael started a diagnostic to check if it was a software problem while she also checked the connections on the back of the computer to rule out a hardware failure. All the connections on this end were good and she followed the cables across the floor to the cell. She would have to check the sensors and cables inside the cage.
Gargantua appeared to be asleep. He should be heavily sedated and remain so for a long time. Doctor Osman had mixed the drugs in his food before Wonder Woman arrived.
She took out the key card from the outside pocket of her lab coat, swiped it over the pad and entered the access code. The LED lights signaled it was clear to enter. Rachael slowly opened and then closed the steel door.
Cautiously, she checked the sensors on the gorilla’s head. One of the wires had come loose. That was the reason for the fault. It must have easily come off from the animal’s slumbering movement. Rachael quickly reconnected it and followed the wires back to the sensor processing unit. The cover was slightly loose. She opened the box and immediately saw that it had been rewired. The modifications had reduced the sensitivity of the equipment.
Could Gargantua have done this she thought? Don’t be silly. He could not perform such a delicate task or even understand what he was doing. Don’t make an undergraduate mistake and anamorphosize an animal subject. This had to be the inattentive work of an intern.
Doctor Osman could not abide slovenly work. She hated that scientific competence was sacrificed for an adherence to protocol and security when it came to the hiring of staff. All the data and research was corrupt. Useless. Rachael was furious. She would not be able to complete her report on time. Worse yet she would have to investigate and explain the incompetence of the lab staff.
While she was busy correctly wiring the electronic unit, she failed to notice Gargantua shift.
If it were not for the computer being retarded by the diagnostic, Doctor Osman would have noticed the dramatic spike in brain activity from a supposedly normal gorilla.
