Mom...don't tell daddy but I met one of the football players here at Florida A & M. It's really exciting to be an entering freshman here at college. I just hope that I can get my arms around things. Strangely, I'm one of the few white girls on campus....but mostly everyone is nice. I will write you next week. Love, Karen
