Wonder Woman walked into the large lab. It was late, and the majority of the staff had left for the evening. Doctor Rachael Osman had agreed to see her that evening after the heroine had explained, over the phone, that it was a matter of some urgency.
It felt warm in the lab; it wasn’t entirely unpleasant, but it seemed to make the heroine more aware of how much the warm environment of the lab differed from the air conditioning in the rest of the complex. The Amazon looked around but didn’t see security in the lab. There hadn’t been any armed guards at the door.
There were various pieces of scientific equipment spread about the room and the large cage containing Gargantua. The large black gorilla seemed uninterested and calmed watched his captor enter the room.
"Wonder Woman," she heard behind, and turned to see a tall woman with elegant dark hair and purplish red highlights, wearing a white lab coat emerging from behind a large partition. The lab coat was unbuttoned; underneath, the woman wore a dark blue silk blouse and black skirt. The silky top conformed and contoured to cleavage that rivaled Wonder Woman’s--in fact, the woman’s entire firm and feminine figure was much to admire in any setting or attire.
"Dr. Osman, I presume?" Wonder Woman said with a slight smile, offering her hand to the woman, who was nearly as tall as her.
"Correct," the academic responded, “Please excuse the late hour”.
"That’s quite all right, Doctor," Wonder Woman responded with a smile. Dr. Osman noticed a slight glow developing on the Amazon’s ample chest. The amazonian princess noticed Doctor avidly watching her bosom shift beneath her red and gold bustier.
"What was it you wanted to see me about?" Dr. Osman asked, her eyes tearing themselves away from the amazon’s incredible body and looking into the heroine’s eyes while leading Wonder Woman towards the center of the lab and in front of Gargantua’s cell. "You made it sound quite important."
Diana went straight to the point, “Doctor, I appreciate the research you are doing but,” Wonder Woman continued, “you must have more security here. Gargantua is a dangerous criminal and not a normal animal.”
Looking at her clip board, Rachael responded, “I appreciate anything you have to add Wonder Woman yet based on my colleague’s observations and their data collection Gargantua is a simple gorilla; more closely in behavior and mannerisms to a chimpanzee than a human.”
Wonder Woman tried to intercede, but Doctor Osman continued, ”We have not observed any super strength, beyond that of a normal gorilla, no any aggressive tendencies nor evil intent in any actions.”
Wonder Woman was finally able to say, “Doctor you must take precautions and have the necessary security.”
Rachael calmly replied, “We had security present and they were removed when it was determined that they were not necessary. I have the key card to the cell. The door will not open without it. I plan to complete my final tests tonight and if nothing aberrant is found; intend to recommend that Gargantua is returned to Africa and released back into the wild.”
Wonder Woman left the lab. Diana realized that she would not be able to impress upon the academic Doctor anything that Rachael didn’t observe or measure scientifically. Doctor Osman thought, a typical heroic personality elevating the skills of your opponent to make your feats more wonderous.
Doctor Osman followed Wonder Woman’s red-booted feet as she walked to the door. Rachael was perplexed by her desire to watch Wonder Woman’s legs sweep forward and regard in awe the star-spangled backside. Doctor Osman forced her gaze back to the pile of paperwork.
